Taj Stansberry is a director and photographer known for his visually striking music videos and commercials. With an impressive roster of A-list artists including Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez, Usher, Lil Wayne, Ne-Yo, John Legend, Ludacris, Swizz Beatz, Eve and Big Sean, Taj has become one of the most sought-after directors in the industry.

A self-taught photographer, Taj began his career photographing local rappers and models in Oakland. His path took a pivotal turn when he worked as a production assistant for renowned director Anthony Mandler, who encouraged him to pursue directing. Taj’s career skyrocketed with his 2011 music video for Jennifer Lopez's "On the Floor", which became one of YouTube's most-watched videos, surpassing two billion views by 2022.

In 2016, Taj expanded his creative pursuits by co-creating the critically acclaimed series The Therapist for The Vice Network. He also authored his memoir, Turbulence: The First 10,000 Feet, which chronicles his early years and career in Los Angeles.
